My classmate in college, brought with her a cute little puppy.  She said it’s a sitzu.  Yes, I heard her right.  It’s a sitzu.  I really wanted to have one.  She promised to give me once it breeds, but we no longer saw each other since then, as we graduated week after that class meeting.  I wanted to remind her of her promise.  As I was about to send her an email, I was confused with the spelling.  Was it a shih tzu or sitzu?  Oh, well, google says they’re just the same, but OMG, I was so embarrassed and too shy to ask her when she will give me a puppy.  Instead of sending an email, I thought it would be better to just call her and ask her directly, but as we talked, all I was able to say was “I’LL Get your dog a sombrero”… whoah!

When I was about to finish college, I stopped schooling, because I applied for a position in the government.  That time, I already possess the required eligibility for the position. I was qualified and got immediately hired.  After several years, I wanted to go back to school and finish my studies for self fulfillment and, perhaps, for promotion.  Sad thing is, as I applied for readmission, the curriculum had been upgraded so much so that my previous subjects cannot be credited anymore.  I was kind of disappointed because even if I will get readmitted, I will have to go through a longer process.   Instead of finishing my remaining subjects in a year, it will take me more than that, which will be very hard for a working mom like me.

Later on, I heard about online education.  This is so cool.   I can study comfortably at home, while taking care of my baby, or even while in the office after finishing all the paperwork.   I can maximize my busy schedule, because I can choose the time when to study, like when I feel ready to absorb the lessons.

With online education, I don’t have to get caught in the traffic unlike when going to a traditional school.   For me, it really works, especially because I love studying quietly on my own.  I can understand the lesson well, as long as all pertinent information, data and instructions are provided, which schools providing online education do.  They provide almost everything a student needs to learn the subject and become a competent degree holder.  Thanks to technology for making things a lot easier.

Playing video games is fun.  Not only kids enjoy it.  Grownups like me still appreciate playing it, especially when you’re doing it with your loved ones.  Last vacation, me and my wife decided to buy an arcade.  It is composed of a PS2 connected to a TV monitor, with a timer. Our initial purpose in buying it is to prevent our kids from playing outside our house.  First, we were playing it just for fun.  Eventually, it became a source of additional income, as our kids’ friends play with it.  More people are now playing in our video games until we decided to buy another set of arcade, so that me and my family can still play when there are other customers.  We’re really enjoying every moments of playing the arcade at the comfort of our home.

My kids are back to school.  My eldest son asked me if he could come along with me in buying their school bags.  He said he wants a particular style, which he cannot describe that’s why he will just look for it himself.  One time, we went to a department store to buy some stuffs.  He pointed to me a bag worth $79.  That was a box type, trolley which can occasionally be seated by small kids.  I was kind of hesitant to buy him that costly bag, but later on while I was at another mall, I saw the same kind of bag with half of its price.  Its brand is different, but its materials and quality are the same.   Although this type of bag is more expensive than ordinary bags, I think it is a good buy, for he may still use the same bag next school year.  The materials used for said bag is durable.  After considering its pros and cons, I bought the bag.  My son was so happy when he saw what I got for him.

I have three retailer sim cards which I use in my e-loading business.  I find it kinda awkward to bring three cellphones with me for the three sims all the time.  It’s more awkward to bring just one cellphone and would have to change sims from time to time.

Finally, there are cellphones out in the market with dual sim, but there are a lot of brands to choose from.  I personally tried different brands, but I prefer to maintain one particular brand.  For its cute style (qwerty pad) I can say that its price is very reasonable.  It has many features – 1.3 megapixel camera, with video, fm radio, external memory, quad band.

Another thing I love about it is that by the use of said cellphone, I can easily upload my photos to a computer and transfer data, download music, videos, etc., because it can be connected to a computer via USB, without needing an installer.

Summer time is fast approaching.  I remember last summer when me and my family flew to Davao City, Philippines and spent a week vacation in there. It was a very unforgettable experience.  There are so many must-see tourist spots to go – Paradise Resort, Pearl Farm, Eden, Malagos Garden Resort, People’s Park, Davao Crocodile Park and a lot more.  I highly recommend to those who love travelling to visit Davao City.  Aside from their unique affordable foods, the people are very accommodating and hospitable.  My family really enjoyed our stay in that wonderful place.

 On my wife’s birthday, I went to a jewelry store, found and bought a particular brand, GC Watches.  It has a unique sense of style and dedicates much of creativity and expertise with remarkable designs.  GC Watches represents  the luxury of Swiss-made fine timepieces and sophisticated European design.  The watches are geared to meet the high  demands of modern men and women who appreciate style and quality.  I’m glad that my wife loved it, just the way I did.

Basketball is one of the famous games in the world, especially because the NBA Finals just ended and has recently been become the talk of the town.   We have also a small league in our community and we call it Riyadh Basketball League.  We want to have our basketball uniform similar with that of the NBA teams.  So, we looked for shops to make our so-called dream uniforms.  A friend informed me that we can have it ordered online, just send them the names, height and numbers of the players and, presto, they will send the hand-made uniform to your respective place, of course, with the right price.

Working overseas is not easy when you already have your own family.  Each day feels like years away from your loved ones.  I am working abroad and I can tell how hard it is to stay and work in a different country.  Really, there’s no place like home.  Now, I’m thinking of a putting up a business so I can settle back home and take good care of my family not only financially, but morally and physically.  One of the business options I am presently considering is having a water refilling station, because tap water is no longer safe for human consumption.  Most families buy purified water.  Said business requires a big initial capital, but it can easily be operated and maintained.  You’ll need to buy a machine and have it installed in your place, and then you’re tap water is ready to go.  There are institutions providing the basic technical know-how in starting this business.  They conduct seminars and provide the information on how to do the business properly.

My husband gave me a branded body cream.    It smells so good.  I only have to apply it once in the morning and I can smell its scent on my skin the whole day.  Everytime I use it, my officemates ask me what perfume I use when I enter the room.  Even visitors who come in our office notice the sweet smell.  There are some who can’t help noticing that our room is fragrant.  That’s because of this body cream that I use.  It’s worth buying this cream.  It serves as a lotion and as a perfume at the same time.
